They have absoloutly no reassurance in their minds, they dont know what theyre dismission to do. They have all lost their minds.The bolder that is curtailment down on Piggy is a symbol of radical breakdown of civilization, means there is no peace anymore. The story kind of took a turn from here, the boys were try to hunt Ralph, their intentions were to kill him aswell. Piggys character was very important to the story. Piggys constitution at the beginning of the novel is comparable to his personality at the ending. He became the vox of reason on the island, he likes to get every word he require to say out. William Goldings Lord of the Flies just wouldnt have been the like if Piggy wasnt in the story, it wouldnt have had the twists and turns it had.
